Dorper Hair Sheep

All lambs sold for breeding are registered with the American Dorper Sheep Breeders' Society

Originally bred in South Africa, Dorper sheep have been found to be quite adapatable to a wide range of climates from the semi-arid brushlands of South Africa to our rainy Pacific Northwest.

Lambing: Prolific and excellent mothers

Dorper ewes are able to breed out of season, having lambs every eight months with a high incidence of twins.
